Where is the Holy Spirit Leading

the Roman Catholic Church in the Future?”

Pope Francis has called a world-wide “Synod of Bishops” to be held in Rome in 2023.

In preparation for that gathering, he is asking every Catholic parish in the world

to engage in a process of mutual listening and hearing.

By listening to one another and hearing the voices of God’s People at all levels

as they share their experience of what it means to be Church at this moment in time,

it is our Holy Father’s hope that we can together discern what the Holy Spirit

is saying to the Church today and where the Holy Spirit is leading the Church in the future.

Here is how you can make your voice known (choose one):

- General Parish Listening Sessions

with light refreshments in the parish hall after each Mass on the weekend of February 5-6, 2022.

(Sessions will be held AFTER the 4pm Vigil on Saturday, February 5, and
AFTER the 6am, 8am, 10am, 12 noon, 4pm, and 6pm Masses on Sunday, February 6.

- Youth Listening Session (age 13-17)

with pizza on Sunday, February 13, 2022, from  2pm-3:30pm in the parish hall.

- Young Adult Listening Session (age 18-35: including all parents of school age children)

with light refreshments on Tuesday, Feb 15, 2022, from 5:30pm-7pm in the parish hall.

- If you can't attend one of the Listening Sessions, fill out and submit the questionnaire below.

Since “synodality” is all about journeying together,
we ask you to spread the word and invite others to join us and make their voices heard.
Please also share this information with other family or friends who may have fallen away
from the practice of their Catholic faith. All input is welcome and encouraged!
Your experiences, insights, and voices are important as we strive
to become the Church the Holy Spirit calls us to be!
