Televised Masses for the sick and homebound will be celebrated and taped on Thursday, December 1. Mass Times:

11:30 a.m. - Feast of Epiphany
12:15 p.m. - 2nd Sunday in Ordinary Time
 
Your participation in TV Masses (as the congregation) reminds our homebound brothers and sisters that they are still an important part of our faith community. The Sunday Mass on television is an outreach of the Diocese of Las Vegas. These Masses can be viewed at www.seaslv.org, and on the CW Network every Sunday morning. Check local listings.

An additional Advent Mass will be celebrated
at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays of Advent,
December 4, 11, and 
December 18 (Simbang Gabi Mass)



Televised Masses for the sick and homebound will be celebrated and taped on Tuesday, December 5. Masses celebrated will be:

 

9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. The Nativity of the Lord 

     (Christmas Mass....Wear your Sunday best)

10:45 a.m. -Feast of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary & Joseph

11:30 a.m. - Feast of the Epiphany of the Lord

12:15 p.m. - The Baptism of the Lord

 

Your participation in TV Masses (as the congregation) reminds our homebound brothers and sisters that they are still an important part of our faith community. The Sunday Mass on television is an outreach of the Archdiocese of Las Vegas and airs every Sunday at 7:30 a.m. on Cox Cable channel 6 (1006 HD) and KFBT-TV digital channel 33.1.

If you answered YES to either of the above, why not let the SEAS Youth Ministry do the wrapping for you?! Bring your gifts and your own wrapping materials (we’ll have some, too) to the SEAS Youth Ministry building, and we will wrap your Christmas gifts for you on December 6 and December 7 between

Expectant Parents Blessing

On the weekend of December 7-8, at all Masses, we will invite expectant parents, both mothers and fathers, to come forward to receive a special blessing. Whether you are soon-to-be first-time parents or experienced parents awaiting the birth of another little one, please come and receive our prayers for your family.








The Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary will be celebrated on Monday, December 9. It is a Holy Day of Obligation this year. 


Mass will be celebrated at 

6 a.m., 8 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 Noon, 

4 p.m., and 6 p.m.






Our Parish Day of Confessions
will be held Tuesday, December 10.
Many priests will be available to hear confessions in the church from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
You can choose to sit with a priest face-to-face or 
give your confession behind a screen.

If you haven't been to confession in a while
and would like some assistance on making a good confession, 



SEAS Parish is pleased to host special celebrations on the feast day of our Lady of Guadalupe, the Patroness of the Americas, on Thursday, December 12. We’ll kick off the day with daily Mass at 8 a.m. Guest performers will be on hand to perform a special dance in honor of Our Lady toward the end of the Mass. All are then invited to the parish hall for a reception featuring homemade pozole, conchas and coffee.

 

A special Mass will also be celebrated at 6 p.m. Guest performers will perform a special dance in honor of our Lady and Las Mananitas will be sung. A reception featuring homemade tamales, conchas, pozole, and coffee will be served. Entertainment will be provided. This will be a wonderful celebration of our Blessed Mother, so spread the news and make plans to join the festivities.

Doors will open at 9 a.m. and will stay open until all the cookies are gone, or 3 p.m. at the latest. How does this work?

They will browse the dozens and dozens of delicious homemade Christmas cookies and select which ones they want to fill their box

We’re looking for generous parishioners who are willing to bake 

and donate 5 dozen of their favorite Christmas cookies 

for the SEAS Women of Joy’s Great Cookie Walk fundraiser.


The cookies should be the same type (not a mixture of different cookies) 

and placed in a non-returnable container.

Please put your name on the container, the name of the cookie, and indicate if any type of nuts were used in the baking, and/or if they are gluten free.

Cookies are to be delivered to the parish hall on Friday, December 13, 

between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton invites all parishioners to attend our Simbang Gabi celebration on Wednesday, December 18, beginning with Mass at 7 p.m. followed by a reception with authentic Filipino food and desserts in the parish hall.

Simbang Gabi is a Filipino tradition of spiritual preparation before the celebration of the Lord’s Nativity. In the days leading up to the Nativity of the Lord, a novena of Masses (9 Masses) is celebrated. Each Mass is followed by a reception where Filipino

food is shared by all. In Las Vegas, each Mass is celebrated at a different parish.

On Friday, December 16, at 7 p.m., come join us for our annual SEAS Christmas Concert!  This year, in addition to some well-loved holiday songs, we will examine the question, “What child is this?” and take a closer look at who exactly is this baby born in 


Bethlehem.  All four of our choirs will be singing as well as some amazing soloists, and there will be hot chocolate and goodies afterward in our parish hall.  This is a great opportunity to invite friends and family members to our parish!

Come experience the joy of the season at this year’s Christmas concert featuring all four of our wonderful choirs on Friday, December 15, at 7 p.m. in the church!  We will celebrate the wonder of the holidays and offer a message of hope for those who may be going through a difficult time this year. The evening will begin with a dramatic depiction of the Nativity 

followed by a concert featuring all 4 of our choirs. 

Afterward, join us in the parish hall for hot chocolate and goodies!
