Her prior experience includes the positions of assistant principal and elementary school teacher in the Diocese of Dallas as well as the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

Erica's strengths and experience are certain to complement the goals of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School. Her accomplishments at the academy are the very reasons for the selection of this candidate, with a brief summary included below:

Facilitation of a significant and steady increase in enrollment

Development of curriculum through the integration of professional learning communities

and cognitive coaching.

Co-curricular and extra-curricular program development to meet the needs

and interests of students

(number of students, faculty and staff)

In addition to demonstrating a strong background in curriculum and assessment,

Dr. Romero understands the importance of raising the bar while maintaining the Catholic identity of the school community. Her warm and collaborative leadership style will provide the encouragement and motivation necessary for faculty, staff and students to excel.

In addition, Erica's strength in directing academic programs and staff development will ensure that curriculum standards are met.

We have been working with Dr. Romero over the last two years and look forward to beginning the new school year with her.

As always, we wish to thank you for your support of the faculty, staff, programs and goals of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School. With the appointment of Dr. Romero, we will continue to strive to bring you and your children the very best that Catholic education has to offer.
